The Bonnie Campbell Hill Washington State Literacy Leader Award rewards passionate individuals dedicated to improving the teaching of reading and writing for grades K-8 in Washington State. Hosted through the Washington State Literacy Association (WaSLA), this award honors two outstanding teacher leaders each year.
Teacher leaders from Washington State may include:
- Classroom Teachers
- Literacy Coaches
- Teacher Educators
The Award
- Winners will receive $2,500 in funds for professional development
- Additionally, award winners are entitled to free registration for the Fall WaSLA Conference
- Award Presentation will occur at the Fall WaSLA Conference
Applications must be received by May 16, 2022
